The viral 'brain extraction' hack transfers one AI's intelligence to another.
PARTIALLY SUPPORTED7 July 2026

Same task, same model, with and without the extracted 'brain' — near-identical outputs; useful as an operating manual, not a brain transplant

A viral Claude workflow claims you can have a powerful model document how it thinks, hand that file to a lesser model, and get better answers. We ran the full extraction on Fable 5, then gave the same real problem to the same model with and without the handover. The outputs were essentially the same — no intelligence transferred. But the handover works as a methodology document for repeated workflows: content research, script analysis, anything where process matters. The hack is overhyped; the operating manual is real.
